The Lobos won their region and took their 9 and 0 record to District Playoffs on Tuesday, Nov. 8 to face powerhouse Neah Bay.

The game was played under the lights on the turf field at Marysville Pilchuck before a large, vocal crowd.

The game started well, with quarterback Keldon Jardine completing long passes to Tak Peralta and Chase Schober, and Tommy Kramer gaining yards on the ground. Lopez jumped out quickly to a 20-8 lead in the first quarter.

But after that, the Red Devils from Neah Bay dominated on both offense and defense and Lopez fell steadily behind.

The final score was 60 – 20.

This was the last game for seniors Jardine, Peralta, Kramer, Matthew Haber, and Cly Angelo, all of whom must be proud of their contributions to one of the most successful seasons in the Lopez football tradition.
