Lopez School baseball enters its third season

The Lobos squared up against the Orcas Vikings for their first game of the season on Thursday, March 17 at 11:30 a.m. on Orcas Island.

This year’s co-ed team includes: seniors, Mikayla Johnson, Conor Dye, Thomas Hobi and Harrison Goodrich; juniors, Austin Reinmuth and Jorge Arturo Solis; sophomores, Uhane Johnson and Gavin Goodrich; freshman Galen Westervelt; eighth-graders, Tyler Sovelove, Lichen Johnson and Reese Hamilton.

“We have high hopes of competing well and having some fun,” said Johnson. “We’re looking forward to a great season.”
