Ava Franklin, age 11, won Reserve Champion for Showmanship, Grand Champion for Market Lamb and Red Gate Farm award for Grand Champion Market Lamb.

“I like participating in all of the events and seeing my friends that live on other islands,” said Ava.

She plans on attending the fair next year and encourages other kids to get involved.

“I think it’s a fun experience,” Ava added.
