The Lopez golf team is gearing up for post-season play. According to Coach Ginger Plum, they are working hard on improving their long game and being more consistent on the greens (as are we all). The golfers have a few more matches, and then the team goes to Districts May 7 at Loomis Trail Golf Course. Their performance at Districts will determine qualification for 1B (boys) and 1B/2B (girls) Bi-Districts a week later at Battle Creek Golf Course. The field will be limited to the best 16 golfers and one alternate for the boys, with 26 plus one alternate qualifying among the girls. The Lopez community wishes them success.
