Both boys and girls basketball teams posted impressive wins against league opponent Arlington Christian at home on Dec. 16. The girls’ game ended 44-14 and the boys took a 62-34 victory over the Arlington Knights. The Lobos jumped out to early leads in both games and never looked back.

The girls, who could only field five players because of the upcoming holidays, led 30-6 at the half. Top scorer was Zoe Reinmuth, who hit on four 3-pointers and contributed 20 points to the win. Just behind her was Siri Dye, with 17 points, several on breakaway lay-ups.

The boys had a 34-7 margin at the half. Leading scorer was Kevin Dye with 31 points, again on several fast breaks, followed by Reese Hamilton with 21 points. The girls now have a 3-1 record and the boys are 2-2.

The Lobos don’t play again at home until Jan. 3 when they host Providence Classical Christian.
