Young-adult author Sydney Salter spoke to Lopez middle and high school students on Oct 11.

Ms. Salter talked about her life-long love of writing, gave advice to aspiring writers, and encouraged students to not be afraid of failing. Ms. Salter’s books include “Jungle Crossing”, and “My Big Nose.” Her books can be found at Islehaven Books and Borzoi and at the library.
