Lopez Union Cemetery, established in 1882, and Center Church, built in 1887, has been historically supported through the annual wreath and gift sale.  This year the sale starts on Nov. 29 through Dec. 7 at the cemetery workshop.  The land for the Cemetery and Church was donated by individual pioneer families in the community and has never been on the County Tax Rolls.  Look for the “Snowman,” which is their mascot.  The ongoing wreath project is sponsored with local volunteer labor and energy.  Proceeds from the sale maintain the grounds, buildings and improvements to both facilities.  We thank our patrons and encourage visitors to come by and see what is happening in the workshop.  Hours are daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
