Truly entertaining and educational, Tickle Tune Typhoon invites you and your community to sing, play and Celebrate Life Through Music And Dance on Saturday, May 30.

Tickle Tune Typhoon is a musical concert presentation that comes alive with dramatic dance and colorful costumes and characters. This unique family concert is a blend of original, traditional and ethnic styles of music, bringing children, families and communities together to sing, dance, play and learn through song. This fun-filled performance invites everyone to enjoy a memorable musical event for the whole family.

Join Lorraine Bayes and Dennis Westphall, founding directors, singers/songwriters and recording artists for the Concert for the Whole Family on Saturday, May 30 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the Lopez Elementary School in the Multi Purpose Room. Cost is $10/family or by donation.

A Workshop for Parents and Teachers follows the same day from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the Multi Purpose Room. Cost is $15 and participants can receive 3 STARS hours for early childhood continuing education. In this outstanding presentation, Lorraine Bayes and Dennis Westphall share their extensive understanding of “Music For The Whole Child” along with action packed ideas, resources, creative teaching techniques and strategies for bringing children, teachers, music and movement together.

This concert and workshop is presented by Lopez Children’s Center, and co-sponsored by Lopez Island Family Resource Center, Sunset Builders Supply, Swal’lech Construction and Lopez Cooperative Preschool.
