The San Juan County Council and the San Juan County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee are now accepting applications for grants funded by the San Juan County Lodging Tax.

Proposed projects must support the operations and capital expenditures of tourism-related facilities owned or operated by a municipality or a public facilities district created under chapters 35.57 and 36.100 RCW; or support the operations of tourism-related facilities owned or operated by nonprofit organizations described under 26 U.S.C. Sec. 501(c)(3) and 26 U.S.C. Sec. 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended.

Applications for the first round of 2022 funding must propose projects that can be completed by December 31, 2022. Application packets will be available beginning January 19. The deadline for receiving applications is Friday, March 4, 2022, at 5 p.m.
