The Wurst Golf Tournament and Music Fest

Sept. 24 marks the return of The Wurst Golf Tournament and Music Fest benefitting Lopez Children’s Center. In the morning-early afternoon, teams of four (members and non-members welcome) vie for prizes and honors at the Lopez Golf Club Course. Following the tournament (about 5 p.m.), participants, their families (all ages) and the general public will be treated to an Oktoberfest-style food court featuring Jones Family Farms brats and sausage, salads, desserts and beverages.
Guests will also enjoy music by two popular local bands: Blue Steal rocks classic blues. The second, a talented group of Lopez High School students under the direction of Jesse Hammond of the MPACT program at LIHS, will feature blues and rock.
