The Northwest 1B League recognized standout performances from three Lopez Island High School student-athletes during the 2025-26 basketball season, with each earning All-League honors.
On the boys team, senior Andris Meissner was named to the first team All-League in the NW1B, a “power conference” that featured Tulalip Heritage and Lummi Nation in the state championship game. Meissner led the Lobos to a 6-8 overall record, including a 5-2 mark at home.
On the girls’ side, Betty Burt earned first-team All-League honors, while teammate Kylie Willemsen received an honorable mention. The girls finished 11-8 overall and 4-3 in league play.
