It Begins……..
More planets changing signs this week; first of all, Mercury moves into the sign of Aries, and this will get the point across in terms of communication across the board. Aries doesn’t waste words. Since Jupiter is already in Aries, we will see almost immediate action from words now, so let’s use prudence since we all may be prone to a period of opening mouth to change feet (usually a Sagittarius trait, but this sign is more than happy to share the wealth in that area).
Now, here’s the biggie. Uranus changes signs on Sunday, moving into Aries and joining Jupiter and Mercury. Wow. What’s happening now will escalate for better or for worse depending on how effectively it is being handled. Folks are sick of words and want action. Uranus will bring that action on a massive scale before going retrograde in July. Uranus will not return to Pisces in his retrograde; he will stay in Aries for the next seven years.
We are all under the influence of changes sweeping our planet as has been predicted. Uranus and Mercury will both square transformative Pluto now so more transformative powers are at work whose ultimate effects won’t be seen immediately. This is why it is critical for all of us to do frequent reality checks and make no assumptions that anything is permanent. This is what we’ve been waiting for and it is all part and parcel of the Mayan prophecies as we head toward next year and the ending of three cycles simultaneously. Our lifestyles are forced to change, we no longer have the luxury of denial on any level, so it’s time to put on our grownup panties and rise to the occasion. Yowza!
Aries (March 21- April 19): Communicative, swift-thinking Mercury sails into your sign this week, joining expansive Jupiter. This adds fuel to your fire, as you continue to go boldly into the week, hatching new ideas, flowers and maybe even chickens! This week sees you feeling much less bogged down now that the Pisces effect is weakening a bit, but your Ruler Mars is still in Pisces and this should be having the effect of your throwing out or organizing your stuff. Instinctively you are preparing, so stay on course.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Chatty Mercury sails into your sector of Endings now and you’re probably busy ending things! This would include old habits no longer working for you, people that make you feel drained and confused, broken cell phones, etc. Time for spring cleaning so that if spring ever gets here, you’ll be ahead of the game! Your Ruler Venus is shining brightly in your sector of Career/Potential, propelling you out into the world and getting your noticed.
Gemini (May 21- June 20): Your Ruler Mercury flies into energetic Aries this week, joining expansive Jupiter. This is good! Your social calendar will be full of projects, gatherings, parties and things to do. You are a natural teacher and student, not to mention a merrymaker in general so accept those invites and show up with sparkles (I have a Gemini friend on Orcas Island who does that and it’s very effective!). There isn’t much grounding energy for you now except for Pluto in earthy, practical Capricorn so if you just can’t get practical, don’t worry. Practicality will come later…much later. Ha! It’s a good thing you’re such an in-the-moment person.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Mercury, the planet of thinking, communicating and travel moves into your sector of Career/Manifested Potential this week, spurring you to redouble your efforts to network and get your stuff out there! If you’re a worrier, stop wasting your energy on that; you need it for forward movement. This period of time supports you now, so use it well by tweaking things so that they work for you (this includes discipline) to get those critical steps taken care of. Your sign is either a caregiver or wanting to be taken care of; find that balance now!
Leo (July 23 – August 22): Swift-thinking Mercury sails into your sector of Expansion, joining Jupiter. This casts your word far and wide, in ways you never suspected possible. Use this week and next to make the big push in terms of connecting, outreach, and preparation for liftoff. You’ve been under pressure for quite a while, but now you will suddenly be free of those constraints and truly feel like a lion let out of the cage. Enjoy this feeling of freedom and a massive savannah.
Virgo (August 23 – September 21): Your Ruler Mercury sails into your sector of shared assets/intimacy this week, joining Jupiter. If you’re married, this should create an atmosphere of mutual cooperation in terms of resources and to make the necessary adjustments. Pluto in your sector of Creative Thinking is keeping a sharp watch, aiming to transform the manner in which you launch yourself into the world; this is very good, since Saturn in your sector of resources is pulling the purse strings on you. You’re not a big spender anyway, and with your adaptability your creative/pragmatic solutions will be of great help to others, should you feel the need to share.
Libra (September 22 – October 23): Communicative Mercury moves into your sector of Relationships, where expansive Jupiter waits to embrace him. This pair will greatly boost your sense of judgment and discernment in terms of the people you allow into your inner circle. Saturn in your sign will make sure of that. Shore things up on the relationship front, because this weekend explosive Uranus enters that sector in your solar chart and it will be a “sky’s the limit” transit!
Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Swift-thinking Mercury sails into your sector of Health/Work, joining Expansive Jupiter if you have begun a new health regime, you will see the benefits of it now, which is terrific! If you have only been thinking of it, start it now for the best results. Explosive Uranus will move into that same sector at the end of the week, so be sure you are healthy and fit for the long tour of Uranus, which will, in time, bring surprises. The planets remaining in your sector of Creative Expression plunge you into a level you don’t often visit, but this time it is easier due to Uranus leaving that sector.
Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): Swift-thinking Mercury moves into your sector of Creative Expression this week, joining your Ruler Jupiter. This pair is very powerful, and with unpredictable Uranus moving in at the end of the week, expect the unexpected. Especially watch your mouth from now on because what you say will have far-reaching effects and you don’t want to be known for chewing on shoes or being blunt and rude. The remaining planets in your sector of Home have you blowing through your living space like the White Tornado of yesteryear as you instinctively are getting everything in order so nothing gets in your way.
Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): Swift-thinking Mercury enters your sector of Home this week, joining Jupiter. Your words will be taken seriously, so use them carefully. You may be tempted to pull rank or be stubborn about something, but it’s best not to. Once you get a plan in your head you prefer it to be executed exactly as planned but if you’ve been on the planet long enough, you know that usually doesn’t happen. Some planets still in your sector of thinking/communicating will help you adapt and review now so give yourself time to think things through.
Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): Mercury, whose domain it is to communicate, moves into your sector of communicating/thinking (Mercury’s happiest there in your solar chart). Joining Jupiter, Mercury will boost your ability to get whatever you need to get “out there,” out there. At the end of the week your Ruler Uranus will move into the same sector, where he will help you rebuild that has been lost and make a fresh start. It’s been a long haul, hasn’t it? Be happy!
Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Chatty Mercury enters your sector of resources/money this week, joining Jupiter who has been there since last month. This pair will give you the ability to negotiate like crazy in terms of making a bit more money or saving money or talking yourself out of a traffic ticket (DO NOT test that last one!). At the end of the week, Uranus leaves your sign and moves into your financial sector as well, so you will get a taste of what is to come before he retrogrades in July. Fasten your seat belt!
