Lopez Volleyball team finished second in the 2011 1B Tri-District Tournament.

Lady Lobos won their first match against Mt. Rainier Lutheran 3-0 earning them a spot at state. The second match against Northwest Yeshiva was also won by the Lady Lobos 3-1.

This put them in the Championship for first and second place with the Christian Faith Eagles for the second year in a row. It was a hard fought match with the Lobos losing 0-3, but the team is feeling very positive about the points they gained against them this year.

They are now heading to the State Championships next Friday with high hopes for success.
