Christine passed peacefully in Friday Harbor, Washington, with her son by her side. Christine was born in Bagley, Minnesota, and grew up in Ethiopia as her father worked as a Lutheran Missionary. She loved horses and showing Collies, but the love of her life was her granddaughter Hannah. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Koosmann and her father Harlan Gilbertson. She is survived by her son Troy (Nicole), granddaughter Hannah, mother Trudy Gilbertson, siblings Gary (Bonnie), Bruce (Sue) and Karen (David).
