She is in her third term on the Port Townsend city council, after having served two terms as mayor. She calls herself a “serial entrepreneur.”

Starting her first restaurant at 24, she went on to own two well-acclaimed restaurants and a catering company in southern California before moving to Port Townsend in 1993, where she is co-owner of Windermere Real Estate.
