It’s getting to be that time of year – glittery decorations, holiday sweaters, and of course the Lopez Island Hospice & Home Support Jingle Bell Dinner.

Bring your family and guests to the eighth annual Jingle Bell Dinner Saturday, Nov. 26, 6 p.m. at the Lopez Community Center – a great time for a great cause.

Experience elegant food and wine by Haven. Beautiful centerpieces created by Elizabeth Landrum. Exciting gifts and experiences at the Silent Auction. And we’ll be joined by Lopez favorite Mamatamba.

“This year we have an amazing array of items for our silent auction,” said Fons Wynen, co-chair of the Jingle Bell Dinner. “A weekend in a stunning tree house, a destination ski week in Solitude, Utah, and a sculpture by well-known Hawaii-based marine life sculptor Scott Hanson are just a few of the items for auction,” said Wynen. “We are expecting spirited bidding.”

Tickets are $65, available exclusively at Paper Scissors on the Rock. Proceeds from the Jingle Bell Dinner will benefit Lopez Island Hospice & Home Support.

“The Jingle Bell Dinner is our major fundraiser for the year,” said Wynen. “We hope to attract a lot of Lopezians who are in a festive and of course a very generous mood.”

“We plan to sell out again this year,” said Tom Ruggles, co-chair of the Jingle Bell Dinner. “Get your tickets early.”
