What local events have helped you get through the winter?

I have lived on Lopez for almost 30 years and what has always helped me get through the winters has been DANCES! I love to dance. Moving to music on the dance floor gets my blood and spirit moving and reminds me that I’m still alive! Music events that are sit-down events just are not the same. There must be room on the floor to dance. I would like to advocate many more winter dances on Lopez in future winters as a means of an opportunity to connect with our great community as well as moving our bodies through those dark days!
