The Lopez Thrift Shop will host its annual Christmas sale on Saturday, Dec. 5 at the school multipurpose room from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The sale is a widely anticipated annual event which began in 1986 and is always on the first Saturday of December.

Volunteers have set aside the best of the donations received from the community during the past year. Those donations have been processed and prepared for the sale. Items include kitchenware, linens, clothing, jewelry, crystal/glassware, antiques, games, puzzles, toys, books, Christmas decorations and a wide variety of gift items appropriate for all ages. The proceeds of the sale are always returned to the community through annual grants given the following March to qualifying Lopez nonprofit organizations.

The sale is a festive event where you will see all of your friends, explore the tables full of nice merchandise and have a good time.
