Phyllis Elaine (Hastin) Norman

Phyllis Elaine (Hastin) Norman, 75, of Shoreline, WA passed away rejoining her husband Charles, father, mother, sisters Sharon and Betty Ann, and son Kenny on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Brookdale of Everett in Everett, WA. She was born on December 10, 1940 on Lopez Island, WA; the daughter of Philip Richard and Betty Violet (Norman) Hastin. She was the beloved mother of Paul Richard Norman, Mikael Arthur Norman, and Kenneth Russell Norman. She was a devoted nurse who sought to heal all the she met, and never stopped her love of the past, seeking to trace her family roots back through the centuries. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 46 years Charles, parents, sisters Sharon and Betty Ann, and adoptive son, Kenny. She is survived by her sons: Paul (Laura) and Mikael; grandchildren: Alexander Philip Norman, William August Norman, and Paul Richard Andrew Norman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016; at the Center Church with burial to follow at Lopez Union Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA and the San Juan Islands. Charles Paul Norman

Charles Paul Norman, 80, of Shoreline, WA passed away rejoining his father, mother, brother Ray, and son Kenny on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Swedish Hospital in Edmonds, WA. He was born on May 24, 1935 in Bellingham, WA the son of Arthur and Paula (Hohensee) Norman. He was the beloved father of Paul Richard Norman, Mikael Arthur Norman, and Kenneth Russell Norman. He was a kind and gentle soul who was loved by all he knew and will be missed greatly by all. He was preceded in death by his parents and adoptive son, Kenny. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Elaine Norman; brothers, Don and Jerry; sons Paul (Laura) and Mikael; grandchildren, Alexander Philip Norman, William August Norman, and Paul Richard Andrew Norman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Lopez Center Church on Lopez Island, WA.
