Tickets are now available for this summer’s BIG EVENT on July 25: a Celebration of Lopez Island’s bounty.

The evening begins at 6:30 with delectable finger foods and fine wines, down-home live music with Matt Hummel, Carol Noyes, Eric Hall & Lance Brittain, and a slide show featuring photos from our in-progress book, Images of America—Lopez Island. We’ll also have fabulous food by Chef Kim Bast and her talented crew. They are working with Lopez farmers and fishers to gather the best seasonal local foods for a truly memorable meal.

To cap the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to support your Historical Society during an entertaining auction with Dick & Sharon Friel. We’ll have art by Steve Hill, Christa Malay, Patie Savage, Aurore Maren, Bob McCabe, Nancy Bingham, Mike & Jean Peterson, and others, plus a few unique experiences including a cooking class for six by gourmet locavore Kim Bast.
