On Thursday, the Grange will host a preventive health event. Offered by Life Line Screening, these services are used to detect plaque build-up in the carotid arteries, one of the main causes of stroke. Screenings for the detection of other vascular conditions, as well as osteoporosis, will also be offered.

For those over the age of 50, painless, non-invasive ultrasound screenings can detect warning signs of stroke before the stroke happens. For more information, call 1-888-653-6441 Space is limited. Appointment is required
