Come sing along with the Adult Family Home residents and friends on April 12 and 26. These events will continue on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Lead by Maureen Rogers at the piano, expect to sing those old familiar tones from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s.
Ever thought of presenting a program for the residents and friends at the Gathering Place? Those who have done so previously: Jeffrey Stonehill doing an abridged version of his Mark Twain monologue; Anne Dawson talking about and sharing quilts; and Lopez Writers Read with Alie Smaalders and Lorna Reese. Call Lynne Keeley at 368-2620.
May 29 will be an evening of music, dance and stories at the Lopez Center. A Beautiful Gift: A Celebration of the Senior Hamlet with Terry Wean on guitar, the Kevin Dengler band, and the Max Crumble Orchestra from Seattle. There will be an article in the Weekly prior to this with more information.
