Field Carrier Landing Practice operations for aircraft stationed at NAS Whidbey Island are scheduled to occur at the Outlying Field in Coupeville, Wash., on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 10 and Aug. 11. Aircraft carrier-based flight training will also occur at Ault Field from Monday, Aug. 8 through Friday, Aug. 12.

Coupeville

Aug. 10 – Mid-afternoon to early evening.

Aug. 11 – Mid-afternoon to early evening.

Ault Field

Aug. 8 – Late afternoon to early evening.

Aug. 9 – Late night.

Aug. 10 – Late night.

Aug. 11 – Late night.

Aug. 12 – Mid-afternoon.

Routine repairs to complete required maintenance on runways 07/25 are still ongoing until the end of September. While runways 07/25 are closed aircraft will be taking off and landing using the remaining runways 14/32 heading either Northwest or Southeast. This takeoff and landing approach will result in increased activity over eastern Oak Harbor, northern Camano Island, Anacortes, La Conner and Lopez.
