On April 15 there will be a grain growing workshop with Dr. Steve Jones. The class will be held at the Port Standley School from noon – 3:30 p.m. and although you must bring your own lunch WSU will provide drinks. Topics covered in the class will include: planting, crop management, and participatory breeding (how to develop your own site-specific variety) with discussion of GMOs. The cost is $15.
