Kohring receives Violet Richardson Award

The Friday Harbor chapter of Soroptimists International honored Mollie Kohring of Lopez Island with its 2012 Violet Richardson Award, which recognizes individuals for volunteer community service.

The Friday Harbor chapter of Soroptimists International honored Mollie Kohring of Lopez Island with its 2012 Violet Richardson Award, which recognizes individuals for volunteer community service.

Kohring joined the Lopez Island Conservation Corps in 2007 and has been an active participant since.

With 107 members, the Friday Harbor Soroptimists is the largest Soroptimist International Club in the Americas, which includes 1,400 clubs in 19 countries and territories.
