When Suspicions Become Fact
We love to be right. So why don’t we listen to ourselves more? How many times do we say or think, “I was right!” or, “I told you so!” Haven’t you noticed how annoying, frustrating and downright crazy making it is when people don’t listen?
Let’s look at the flip side of this. Sometimes we don’t want to be right. Sometimes we apprehend something akin to a deep, dark, murky, malevolent undercurrent and we hope to God we’re wrong. That nagging feeling brings enormous discomfort, and then whatever it is surfaces and we were right. What do we do between the time we suspect something is wrong and the time we discover that we are right about it? The answer to this is as individual as we are, but there are several generic methods:
1. Make like an ostrich.
2. Confront it when we first “see” it.
3. Wait and see.
4. Try to change the tide.
One thing to remember is, patterns tend to repeat themselves. Anything else is not a pattern; it is an anomaly. Just as in mathematics, there are integers, fractions, prime numbers and rational and irrational numbers. The irrational numbers are the ones that come alive, that reveal doorways in between worlds and modes of reality. These are irrational times. Some of us will not live to see the end results. The journey sure is fascinating, though! But we shouldn’t seek to be right; hopefully we can seek to learn, and to ask the right questions rather than focus on giving answers.
Aries (March 21- April 19): More and more emphasis is in your sector of friendships and goals now, with Venus joining Mercury and Neptune there. This trend will continue through the second week of March, and you will experience some unexpected behaviors and events, so flex your mental and emotional muscles and get ready to dance!
Taurus (April 20 — May 20): Three planets in your sector of career bring you to a turning point on the work front. Confrontations or changes of position are likely through the first two weeks of March. If you are self-employed, look for some unexpected news or perhaps even expenses you weren’t planning on. Fortunately, you are careful with money by nature so you should have a cushion.
Gemini (May 21- June 20): You are able to blast into action again, but in a way that is structured. Others around you will ask for focus, so deliver the goods. With Mars ending its extraordinarily long tour in your sign, you should be seeing results on projects you’ve been working on for many months. See it through to the finish and don’t forget to tie up the loose ends!
Cancer (June 21 — July 22): It’s going to be nutty for you for a while longer … hang in there! The couple of weeks following a total Lunar eclipse effect you more most other signs because the moon is your Ruler. You will see new and different perspectives regarding your role in your family. Make the necessary adjustments and realize that all relationships change, hopefully taking all concerned to a higher level.
Leo (July 23 — August 22): You are making strides now in ways you didn’t think possible a couple of years ago. You resist change unless it is of your own doing; your reserved nature can work against you if you indulge in any negative thinking, so don’t do it. Most of all, watch the judgmental side of yourself during this time. It will work against you.
Virgo (August 23 — September 21): Now we begin a new phase as we move into the time of year that calls on you to focus on “the Other.” This is no silver bullet, it happens every year but this year is special because of the recent eclipse in your sign. Use this time to glean new knowledge, adopt a different approach and flex your social muscles. You will also want to really pay attention to your health now. Be sure you are taking care of yourself.
Libra (September 22 — October 23): You should be emerging resplendent from the eclipse, and moving ahead with your dream. This is an extra beneficial time to artists of any kind that are Libra natives. If you are working on your home in some way, either engaging in a remodel or repairing storm damage, you will find that the end result is delightful. Don’t allow any negative influences poison your mind or home life.
Scorpio (October 24- November 22): You’re burning the candle at both ends now, and this may be what is called for. One thing you want to be sure of is quality sleep. If you are gnawing on an old bone, it’s better to just bury the darned thing and walk away. Cut through the surface of circumstances and see what is really there, including (and most importantly) inside your own head. Continual reevaluation is needed, but you will find solid footing and be able to gain more confidence.
Sagittarius (November 23 — December 20): You’re blasting into March with new ideas and a renewed sense of direction. You’ve had your fair share of knocks these past few years, but Jupiter, your Ruler, delivers for you and you have some solid support. Look for some financial gains now and stay focused. Don’t let anything deter you from grabbing that brass ring.
Capricorn (December 21 — January 21): As we begin to be able to think about Spring, you find yourself in a very busy time. This is good, because you are, by nature, one who needs to be occupied so you don’t think yourself into a depression. If finances are of a concern now, make the necessary adjustments to make yourself more comfortable. Challenging times lead to new opportunities if our eyes are open. Make a new map for yourself and your life.
Aquarius (January 22 — February 20): With three planets occupying your sign, you have plenty of bullets to dodge and awards to claim! There isn’t really a whole lot to keep you grounded right now, but if you can manage to set a workable routine, you will be able to gain ground. If you have already completed your tax work, be sure you’ve covered all the bases; you don’t want to take a financial hit you’re not prepared for.
Pisces (February 21 — March 20): This is your time of year to celebrate, and there is plenty to celebrate now! This phase involves new perspectives regarding your outlook on life. Be more active and less ponderous and you will strike a balance. As the Spring promises new growth and is fast approaching, gather your friends and renew old acquaintances.
