Amigos de Santa Cruz is participating in GiveBIG, the annual giving challenge created by The Seattle Foundation to support and encourage donations to nonprofits that are affiliated with the foundation.

The Seattle Foundation and local businesses will match a share of every contribution made through The Seattle Foundation’s online (http://www.seattlefoundation.org/) Giving Center between 7 a.m. and midnight on May15.

During the day, you could be chosen at random to have your charity of choice receive an additional $1,000 from GiveBIG’s sponsors.

Last year, Amigos raised over $12,000 during the Give Big Campaign.

“Your gift will help make a difference in the lives of hundreds of children and families in our Santa Cruz la Laguna communities,” said Lopezian Patricia Torpie, director of Amigos de Santa Cruz.
