The Banff Film Festivals ”Radical Reels” event is a fundraiser for both the Lopez Island Family Resource Center and The Lopez Community Center.

The mission of the Lopez Community Center is to enrich the entire Lopez Community. With a commitment to ensure the Center is affordable to all Lopezians the community rental rate is offered at 50 percent of our actual operating costs. The remaining 50 percent must be made up through fundraising. The Radical Reels fundraiser will help in allowing the Lopez Community Center to continue to offer reduced rates for community events such as potlucks, dances, and movies. The Community Center is also used by many of our local non-profits who pay the reduced rate for their fundraisers. Please come to this mountain sport film festival and support these two valuable organizations.
