Friends of the San Juans will host a “Coffee and Conversation” on Tuesday, March 1 at 10:45 a.m. at the Lopez Library.  Friends’ staff and board would like to hear from community members about the environmental and sustainability topics in the San Juans that inspire you.

Attendees will get a brief recap about Friends’ efforts to designate the Salish Sea as a Particularly Sensitive Sea Area with Lauren Platman, Marine Policy Associate and board members San Olson and Ken Burtness.  There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss other topics.
