Lopez Firefighter’s Association hosts a fun fund-raising event on the day of Tour De Lopez at the Old Store Parking lot under the tower, Lopez Island. Anyone can come at 12 p.m. and try their aim at the dunk tanks holding the Sheriff or Fire Chief. “I’m praying it will be warm said Fire Chief, Jim Ghiglione. “The water is going to be very cold, did I mention it will be very cold?” Despite the water temperature, Ghiglione said it should be fun.
