Sixth annual Soggy Bottom Golf tournament

Entrance fee for the tournament is $25 for golf club members and $35 for non-members. Registration begins at 10 a.m.

Learn how to establish an online presence by using this free online service to create a website or blog. This class is taught by Adrienne Adams. Class will consist of two, two-hour sessions. Use of a laptop is required: a limited number are available to those who do not have one. Students must have basic familiarity with using a Web browser. Pre-registration required. The company will perform “Henry’s Freedom Box,”

the true story of a young black man mailing himself to freedom. Free.

Giant garage sale

10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Lopez Island Community Church.

The proceeds go to benefit an orphanage in Tiajuana.

San Juan County Arts Council meeting

4:15 – 5:30 p.m., Lopez Library.

This meeting is to gather ideas on what your vision of an arts council is and how it might benefit you and your community. Teddy Deane will also update you on what has been done so far.

Wintertime Storytelling

Alie Smaalders, Rosie Sumner, Kip Greenthal and Cynthia Dilling will entertain all ages in front of the fireplace with their storytelling.
