Come to the Cinco de Mayo Community Dinner at the High School Commons, Thursday, May 5.

The high school’s Chef 1.0 Internship Class makes fresh tortillas for our Mexican feast, Their Baking Class prepares tres leches cake (three milk cake) for dessert.

The Hot Shop provides hot sauce tasting and traditional dancing provided by Monarca.

The Food for Thought Program’s menu includes slow-cooked pork carnitas, chicken or vegetarian tacos on homemade tortillas, chili-lime cole slaw, Spanish rice and beans and more.

Donations of $10 for adults or $5 donation for children under 12, are accepted.

Donations support the Friday Harbor High School Chef 1.0/2.0 Internships and Food for Thought Program.
