Youth Art Exhibition at the Lopez Library

Please join the Lopez Library for Art in the Library celebrating the artistic works of Lopez Youth for all of June, with opening events on Saturday, June 3 from 1-5 pm.

AP Artists (Advanced Placement Seniors in High School) from the Lopez School will be exhibiting works on the walls inside the Library, and the Lopez Homeschool Collective will be showing works in the display case. There will also be a one-day-only (June 3) “Wonder Walk” showcasing the sculptural clay works made by Lopez School Elementary students.

Opening Party Events for these Youth Art shows will be held on Saturday, June 3 from 1-5 p.m.:

From 1-3 p.m. join us for the “Wonder Walk” around the rock wall behind the library to celebrate clay sculptural garden art made by Lopez Elementary School Students. There will be fun for family and friends, as well as piñatas made by Lopez School Elementary students filled with candy starting at 2 pm.

From 4-5 pm, please join us inside the Library as Lopez School AP Artists and Homeschool Collective introduce viewers to their artworks and a celebration with light refreshments served.

There will also be art created from Morning Star Children’s Circle and during Library Storytime featured
