Special holiday hours at the Whale Museum

Friday Harbor, WA—The Whale Museum will be open extended hours for shopping and kids’ activities on Friday, Dec. 4, following the Tree Lighting Ceremony. Join us for holiday treats in the gallery, shop for holiday gifts (merchandise 20% off) and/or visit the Exhibit Hall. The museum and gift shop open at 10:00 a.m.; admission will be free from 5:00-7:30 p.m. For more information, contact the museum at (360) 378-4710, ext. 30.

Founded in 1979, The Whale Museum’s mission is to promote stewardship of whales and the Salish Sea ecosystem through education and research. In addition to providing exhibits, the Museum also provides programs including: the Orca Adoption Program, Soundwatch Boater Education, Marine Naturalist Training, San Juan Islands Marine Mammal Stranding Network, and the Whale Hotline.
