Shakespeare festival to start Nov. 17

The Community Shakespeare Company will present its ninth annual Fall Festival at the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts, Nov. 17-20.

The Community Shakespeare Company will present its ninth annual Fall Festival at the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts, Nov. 17-20.

The plays this year are two classic comedies: “Twelfth Night,” featuring actors in grades K-8, and “All’s Well That Ends Well,” with actors grade 8 to adult.

“Twelfth Night” will be another world premiere in the acclaimed series of Shakespeare adaptations by company Director Richard Carter.

Performances will be from 4:30-6 p.m. daily for “Twelfth Night” and at 7:30-10 p.m. daily for “All’s Well.” Wednesday’s performances are “pay-what-you-will,” with admission by donation at the door. Thursday is Students and Seniors day, with all seats priced at $10. Friday and Saturday performances are $15 for all seats.

Tickets are available at Islehaven Books; online tickets at www.communityshakespeare.org. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door, beginning one hour before each performance.
