Some say the best things in life are free, but others contend nothing in life is free. But the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts is presenting another Community Performance Night at the center, Friday, Jan. 20, 7 p.m. — and it is indeed free.

Some say the best things in life are free, but others contend nothing in life is free. But the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts is presenting another Community Performance Night at the center, Friday, Jan. 20, 7 p.m. — and it is indeed free.

“It’s a way to bring free music to the people by inviting great musical talents to perform,” said Robert Harrison, assistant director of the center.

The evening of local entertainment features Runs Deep, a psychedelic rock band, the Sheet Metal Blues Band and David Anderson.

Like other Community Performance Nights, there will be cafe style seating and a no-host bar of beer, wine and juice. Popcorn and tea will be provided.
