Orcas Island Lit Fest announces call for reading proposals for Fall Lit Walk

The Orcas Island Lit Fest invites authors to participate in the OILF Fall Lit Walk, set for the evenings of Sept. 13 and Sept. 14, 2024. This new event marks a standalone expansion of a beloved literary event, and will feature readings at numerous venues in the village of Eastsound and downtown Anacortes.

The Lit Walk celebrates the literary talents of the Pacific Northwest, while promoting the efforts of authors from San Juan County (SJC) and its neighbors, offering local writers a platform to reach both island residents and visitors. For the first time, this year’s event will include a special opportunity reserved for SJC writers in downtown Anacortes, amplifying their work to a broader audience.
