Whether you’re ready to soak up the sun with outdoor summer concerts, tour around the island looking at fine artist studios, or cozy up in a theatre for the latest in live, local entertainment, there’s plenty to do on Orcas Island!

ARTS

Visit Local Artisan Studios during the Orcas Artist Studio Tour from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11 – Sunday, Aug. 13. If you miss the studio tour, come see a selection of exhibiting artist’s works on display through Aug. 29 at Orcas Center.

MUSIC

The FREE Outdoor Summer Concert Series on the Village Green sponsored by Orcas Center, OrcaSong Farm, Country Corner, and The Outlook Inn continues on Thursday, Aug. 10 at 6 p.m. as we welcome John Reischman and The Jaybirds with Special Guest, the Litch Brothers.

Other great concerts include welcome Dirty Cello with Special Guest, Wolfchild on Sunday, Aug. 20 at 6 p.m; The Shook Twins with Special Guest Rafe Pearlman and Chihsuan on Thursday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. And of course, don’t miss the Summer Series grand finale on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. with Taylor Made – A Tribute to James Taylor.

JAZZ FESTIVAL

Martin Lund’s Jazz Festival returns to the Orcas Center stage Labor Day Weekend featuring EntreMundos, säje, Martin Taylor and Biréli Lagrène, and of course, Martin Lund and the Off-Island All-Stars!

The arts and cultural hub of our community, Orcas Center is filled with a wide range of activities. We present and produce dance, music, theater, and visual arts by local and visiting artists, host local cultural events, and offer diverse learning opportunities for adults and children.
