The Lopez Island Grange is holding two October fundraising events for their building maintenance and restoration fund. Due to Covid-19 all orders will be taken online via the Grange’s new website for a Take Out BBQ Dinner and Daffodil Bulb Sales. The BBQ Dinner is cooked by native Texans and Lopez Island residents Martha and Bryan Gooding. Dinner consists of a generous plate of pulled pork sandwich with a side of BBQ Sauce, Thai cole slaw, Dill potato salad and Paula Deans banana pudding. Limited sales. $25 a plate with pre-orders being taken till Oct. 6. Pick-up will be day of from noon – 2:30 p.m.

Daffoidil bulb orders will be taken till Oct. 23 with pick-up at the Grange on Sun. Oct. 25th from 12-2:30 PM. Plant in fall (all the way into Dec.) for spring blooms! Several varieties in beautiful colors. Naturalizers, deer resistant. Perfect for borders, rock gardens, around fruit trees, along a fence line etc.Taking pre-orders online from Wednesday, Sept. 16 to Oct. 23. Pick-up at Lopez Grange ONLY on Sun.
