The Lopez Community Singers opens its third season with a festive concert of joyful Christmas and winter music on Sunday, Dec. 2, at 2:30 p.m. Come to enjoy the warm ambiance and fabulous acoustics of Grace Church as you hear 28 of the finest voices on Lopez.
Professional conductor Angel Michaels of Friday Harbor inspires the ensemble; and our own Marge Stensrud is the skilled accompanist. The eclectic program will include beautiful music from many styles and traditions. A special treat will be a new piece written for the Lopez Community Singers by composer Mary Will Allen titled “Winter Sunset.”
There is plenty of parking, and you won’t have to drive home after dark. Please join us to celebrate the 2018 holiday season. There is no admission charge, but donations are gratefully accepted. Joy to all!
