After a three-year absence, the Lopez Lamb, Wool, and Goat Festival returns Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lopez Center for the Community and the Arts. There will be local crafts, yarn, textiles, lamb, goat cheese, sheep shearing, and fleece sale, plus spinning, weaving, dyeing, and activities for the kids.

From noon until they sell out, Martha and Bryan Gooding are cooking a Greek-style lunch with grilled and lightly smoked lamb kabobs on fresh pita with tzatziki sauce, rosemary potatoes, and Greek salad for $20 benefiting the L.I.F.E. Garden Program at Lopez School. Terri Roush will be there with fresh-roasted coffee beans and coffee, and North Star Farms will have their delicious doughnuts and bagels. Admission is free.
