Wow, What a Week!

We begin with the New Moon in late degrees of Pisces; it conjoins chaotic Uranus, and anything goes. Since Pisces is a water sign and rules oceans and incidents of flooding, don’t be surprised to see more flooding and the other things that have been occurring this year in terms of earthquakes, storms and other earth changes that the Mayans predicted so long ago.

This week, Mercury (thinking, communication, travel, commerce) moves into the fire sign Aries, joining Venus who is already there. We will begin to see the signs of things to come that will arrive next month and pick up speed, culminating in June when chaotic Uranus enters Aries and forms a T-Square with transformative, stealthy Pluto in Capricorn and restrictive Saturn in the sign of Libra. All of this affects the Cardinal signs the most (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn). If you were born early in your sign or have one of these signs rising or your Moon is in a Cardinal sign in the early degrees, it will get downright personal. However, this extraordinary and rare configuration of these planets will affect everyone, everywhere especially on the level of governments.

What is especially important is that we adapt. Granted, some feel they have adapted as much as they can or are willing to. You know what? Adapt even more. It’s our turn to feel the squeeze, and to learn from others how to deal with it. Let’s read up on how the developing nations and third world countries adapt. Or, we only have to look back 65 years to Europe during World War II to find out how to adapt. I’m not saying we are going to be attacked again; no one knows when that will happen. I am saying that the fabric of our very beings is being changed and no two ways about it, it hurts. It’s scary. It’s depressing. When one’s world view undergoes a radical shift, it is a trauma. But let’s not get hung up on the drama or the trauma. Let’s deal with it as it comes. No use inventing stuff to be afraid of.

Having said all that, let’s welcome Spring and the equinox as the cycle tells us that new growth comes even when we think it never will. We need to give it a chance.

Aries (March 21- April 19): Lots of action begins this week that will be in effect for the near future as Mars in your sector of creativity is in direct motion and gaining speed, Venus is in your sign giving you strength in confidence, and at midweek communicative Mercury will join your sign making you practically unstoppable! This is a very powerful time for all you Cardinal signs, so make the best of every moment and I mean it! More stuff is coming and you want to be fit as a fiddle!

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): There are many things you are finishing now, and it seems like your health or the health of a loved one is a concern for you. It could be that your work is wrapping up a phase and you’re getting ready to make a move. There is a lot of action around you, and you have to keep up instead of being the one to set the pace. A major focal point for you is your home, and hopefully it’s all cheery and ready to greet the sun if it ever arrives!

Gemini (May 21- June 20): You are so busy you can’t find your face. No, that is not a typo! You are very good at doing more than one thing and you’re on several tracks right now with new friends or possibly a new goal in your sights. Spring is getting ready to happen and your blood really feels it! With three planets in fire signs as of this week, you’re really heating things up with your energy; hopefully in a good way! Your mind is fired up and well honed now. Enjoy it all!

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Your sectors of career and money are really active now; this is a time when you are likely to get a real boost workwise. If you’re a homebody, something will ignite your interest as you can see new possibilities and different ways to express who you are and give what you have to give. Receiving is also the order of the day, so be sure to refrain from being bossy or over reactive; for now, seize control over the remote and grin with gusto! Oh, and read something that makes you feel really good, too.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Mars gaining speed in direct motion in your sign energizes you now, and with powerful Venus in your sector of expansion/travel/spirituality and communicative Mercury joining her at midweek, you finally have the fuel you need to launch something you’ve been waiting for! You are, by nature, cautious and methodical, which is good. Your intuitive skills are sharp and you are catching the scent of change. Stay focused and make sure your mane looks good!

Virgo (August 23 – September 21): It’s heating up now, and you’re really feeling it! Now look, there is a lot of action in your sector of intimacy/things shared. This sector includes other people’s money. You may be handling someone else’s money or you may be receiving money to start something; you are not a big spender, which is good, and the past year and a half has trained us all to rein in. You have plenty of energy to get done what needs to be done, so don’t put anything off, it’s important. Go!

Libra (September 22 – October 23): Wow, with two planets in your sector of relationships and the bases loaded in your sectors of home and self-image, you are in quite the quandary now. Don’t get too confused, because you won’t be able to figure this out. In fact, it will be hindsight that brings enlightenment for you, but much later. There is more to come, and you are receiving signals. Fortunately, you are an air sign with strong mental capacities, so, in pilot-speak, even if you have a problem with the engine, focus on flying the plane.

Scorpio (October 24- November 22): Intensity is the game of the day, but you want to bow out and chill out. Good for you! This week, two planets will be in your sector of work/health, and this highlights more of the same to come when mighty Uranus moves into that sector in June. Read the signals and make the adjustments you need to ahead of time then fasten your seat belt! There may be an emotional upset or if you’re an artistic Scorpio, an “incident” with your medium of choice this week. Roll with it.

Sagittarius (November 23 – December 20): Now things are happening at a quicker pace, and your efforts pay off; the results are coming in. Pace yourself and don’t try to go in more than one direction at a time! Mars gaining speed in your sector of expansion/spirituality heightens this area of your life and Venus and Mercury moving through your sector of creativity lights your rockets. Travel is very possible in the near future so don’t spend any extra money now, you’ll need lunch money en route.

Capricorn (December 21 – January 20): It’s jamming now, Cappie. Venus and Mercury moving through your sector of Home put the spurs to you to start something new that you’ve wanted to do for a while. Mars gaining speed in your sector of intimacy/shared assets ignites your passion to move stuff around in a better way. You may be receiving money from someone now, either because someone owed you money or because you applied for something…this is good!

Aquarius (January 21 – February 20): The flames are getting higher now; Mars is gaining speed in your sector of relationship and both Mercury and Venus are moving through your sector of communication. Looks like you are engaged in a new endeavor that is taking off, whether it is a hobby or work-related. Great! You do have that quirky gift of luck, and with lucky Jupiter in your sector of money, it looks like you’ve made some very good decisions, whether intentionally or not. Congratulate yourself!

Pisces (February 21 – March 20): Whoa, Pisces! Time to cash in some chips! Both Venus and now Mercury are moving through your sector of money, and if you have been thinking of starting a moneymaking venture, do it now! Mars gaining speed in your sector of work/health brings even more good fortune for you too, and it’s now. This New Moon in your sign will get rid of a final obstacle, allowing you to move ahead and shed old skin. This is good! Go get your hair done and get all scrubbed up!
