Come one, come all to a Halloween Celebration in the Heart of Lopez Village tonight! A host of events will be happening between Paper Scissors on the Rock and the Plaza Building. Decorate your car trunk and fill it with candy. Bring carved pumpkins. Dance to live music. Fill your bags with treats.

The fun starts at 5 p.m. with a bring your own carved pumpkin contest. Entries may be submitted up to 4 p.m. Halloween Day. Judging will be at 5 p.m. Enter to win a $15 gift certificate (from Lopez Bookshop, Lopez Coffee Shop, Holly B’s Bakery or Paper Scissors on the Rock) in one of four categories – Scariest, Funniest, Most Original, Best Island Theme.

At 5:30 p.m., bring your decorated car trunk to Papers Scissors on the Rock parking lot and fill it with candy. Walk across the street and dance to our local band, Postpone in front of the Village Plaza Building.
