Give kids something to look forward to

The free Family Art Days return for the Winter and Spring Program of Take-Home art packs. The San Juan Islands Museum of Art (SJIMA) is pleased to announce the kick-off of the popular free program on January 22 with a three-dimensional paper snowflake take-home pack. This series continues through May 21 with a wide variety of fun and inspirational art projects designed for the whole family. Take-home kits include all materials and instructions needed to plan a project on your weekly schedule.

Each week, SJIMA will feature a new take-home art project. Art kits will be available for pick-up Saturdays at the museum between 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. To participate in Family Art Days, families must pre-register for each week’s project, to ensure enough supplies are available. Visit www.sjima-online.org/family-art-days to get started. Join us for the expanded program of creative projects – just for you!
