Lopez Island Community Scholarship Foundation
All community members and friends are invited to attend a presentation and discussion of Current Trends in Post-Secondary Education hosted by Lopez Island Community Scholarship Foundation in the Library Meeting Room on Monday, April 29, from 5–6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Guest speaker Peter Stamats, President and CEO of Stamats Communications, Inc., heads a family business which has provided research, consulting, and marketing services to colleges and universities nationwide for over 30 years. As part-time residents of Lopez Island, Peter and his family are very supportive of the Lopez community and the success of Lopez students.
The presentation will include time for questions and discussion.
After meeting with Peter last fall, members of the LICSF board were so impressed they decided to find a way to share the information with the Lopez community. They also enlisted Peter to serve on the board! LICSF is confident that all who attend will find the presentation to be interesting, insightful, and enlightening.
