Call for artists and artisans deadline Aug. 5

Makers from across the San Juan Islands are invited to show their work at a lovely outdoor Summer Fair on San Juan Island, Saturday, Aug. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at the beautiful Pelindaba Lavender Farm. The fragrant fields will be in full bloom

and lined with white tents and colorful banners inviting guests to stroll the Makers Fair and join in the celebration.

Individual and group Makers booths showcase the best of the San Juans and guests can enjoy a picnic lunch, listen to island music, and experience the height of summer and the amazing creativity of Island Makers.

Makers from Lopez, Orcas and San Juan Islands are welcome to submit an entry with the link below.

VENDOR OPTIONS

• Bring your own 10×10 white tent and pop-up a booth to show and sell your work. • Request to be included in a group show with exhibits displayed in Island groups – San Juan, Orcas, Lopez. These displays will not conduct sales but information sheets and business cards for referrals are suggested. Drop works off on home islands – or bring them with you.

• Offer a hands-on demonstration of your art or craft – host a value-added food product sampling – or present a make-it-yourself feature for hands-on guest experiences.

10% of sales benefit the San Juan County Arts Council.

FULL BLOOM is a collaborative all-islands event hosted by the county-wide San Juan Makers Guild and Pelindaba Lavender Farm. Thanks to support from county LTAC funds, there is no fee for makers to exhibit.
