Lopez Island Senior Services would like to invite the community to the seventh annual Islanders Bank Sixth Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday May 16 at 1:00 p.m.
Saturday April 25 opened with some cloud cover, but as the day progressed, the more than 1000 cyclists who visited the island for the annual Tour were treated to sunny, bright skies and moderately cool temps, which were perfect for cycling. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and friendly co-cyclists, the Tour participants were treated to a catered lunch by the Bay Cafe on the Lopez Village Green.
The Tour de Lopez kicks off springtime as hundreds of cyclists visit the island to enjoy the moderate terrain and the excellent hospitality.
