The Lopez Library proudly presents “The Alpine Life: A Season of Mountain Travel in Slides.” Join us for an evening of adventure and beauty as Lopez local Jeff Huntington recounts his first season as an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School. Jeff will present three short slideshows set to music documenting over 70 days of expedition travel in the mountains of Alaska and Washington. Venture into Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the Southern Talkeetna Mountains and The Northern Picketts. The event is Oct. 20, 7-8 p.m. in the Lopez Library Community Room.
