This summer, the Historical Society is bringing history alive. The fundraiser – Lopez Legends, Myths and Yarns will be the first of a series of unique and irresistible programs.

At the Port Stanley School on July 21 at 7 p.m. there will be an evening of fascinating tales from the museum’s archives, after-dinner delectables, desserts, and live music. Through the diaries, letters, and personal papers of Lopez settler families, you will be treated to the intimate details of the lives of early Lopez Island’s best storytellers.

Tickets are $35 each, and we will offer several different ways for you to support museum programs. Seats are limited, and we expect to sell out early, so get your tickets now to guarantee your place. Call 468-2049 if you need more info.
