Sharon Abreu concert: “Spring is in the airs.” 4 p.m., Lopez Center. Abreu will perform accompanied by pianist Marianne Lewis. The program will include opera arieas by Mozart, Puccini, Handle and Dvorak, songs with music by Barber and Copland and poetry by Emily Dickinson and W.B. Yeats. Tickets $12, $8 for youth. Puppets on the Rock: 2 p.m., Lopez Community Center Outdoor Stage. Turtle and Crane by Dragon Arts Studio. Northwest Puppet Center presents Dragon Arts Studio, an award winning puppet theater from Beijing. They bring us images of China, including an encounter between a turtle and a crane, mischievous monkeys, a beautiful dancer and a ping- pong match. Performed with large, elaborately costumed rod puppets. Tickets available at Islandale Books and Blossoms and at the door.

Concert: A Beautiful Gift: Celebrating Our Senior Hamlet, 6:30 p.m., Lopez Center. Terry Wean on guitar, Rosie Sumner, vocalist, The Max Crumble Orchestra, and Kevin Dengler & The Sheet Metal Blues Band. Desserts, drinks, dancing. Admission is free.

Grow a row-Sow little effort, sow much gain: Three drop-off/pick-up locations: Lopez Fresh in the village, by Islandale store and Lopez school near the busses. Lopez Thrift Shop fundraiser: Asian Fusion Dinner, The Love Dog Restaurant. There will be two seatings for dinner. The first will be from 5-6:30 p.m. and the second will be from 6:45-8 p.m. This year take out dinners will also be available. Tickets are $30, available through advanced sales at The Thrift Shop and the Lopez Village Market on May 21 and 22, noon-4 p.m. And May 28 and 29.
